Stormcloud-Profile-PictureStormcloud® is the perfect spouting for people who wish to retain the existing look of their home while enjoying the low maintenance and long life benefits of uPVC. Stormcloud® has a similar shape to traditional metal quarter round spouting and offers an internal bracket for a smooth finish.

VERSATILITY

Many existing homes around New Zealand feature traditional metal quarter round spouting. When this product comes to the end of its life, Marley Stormcloud® provides a perfect replacement adding durability and low maintenance to the striking quarter round profile.

TOUGH AND LONG LASTING

Marley Stormcloud® spouting is manufactured from uPVC. uPVC is an extremely tough and long-lasting material that will not rust, requires little maintenance and is UV resistant. All Stormcloud® components come with a 15-year guarantee.

COLOUR AVAILABILITY

Bracket System: Internal brackets. To be spaced at max 500mm centres (reduce to 300mm in high wind or snow prone areas). All Marley Spouting bracket systems create + maintain a 10mm gap between the fascia and the back face of the spouting to allow water to spill to the exterior of the building envelope (as recommended in BRANZ Technical Bulletin Issue 509, “Sizing Gutters and Downpipes”, Clause 4.01).

INSTALLATION

Marley spouting and downpipes are intuitively designed as a modular system, making repair and replacement much simpler. There is a technical element to installing Marley spouting so if you are unsure, Marley recommends you seek advice from a trade professional. Expansion Joiner:

The Stormcloud spouting system utilises a new one-piece expansion joiner. The expansion joiner and length of spouting should be pre-assembled on the ground to the correct temperature engraving before lifting into place, fitting the spouting system into the brackets and solvent welding the fixed end of the expansion joiner to the existing section of spouting.

1. Roll spouting into the expansion joiner by first engaging back lip and then clicking front lip into place NB. Do not slide the spouting into the expansion joiner as it may dislodge the rubber seal.

2. Adjust the spouting end to correlate to the temperature engraving and install with joiner in position.
